After 23 public meetings, hundreds of survey responses, and a 3-hour candidate forum, we’ve democratically selected Krystal Barnett and Dr. Zacheriah Davis to lead the transformation of the SLPS Board.

💪🏾Resolution for Free Tutoring
With the leadership of Alderman Rasheen Aldridge, we secured a sponsored resolution calling for free tutoring for all children in need.

💪🏾 Black Men Read Expansion
✔️ The literacy tutoring program now boasts 10 active tutors and 13 trainees, helping children succeed one book at a time.
